How to regulate AutoLinea blocks and engines

Did you know that after purchasing a new block or engine, the end consumer must register it with the responsible traffic department?

 

The COTRAN No. 282 of June 2008establishes that it is up to the end consumer to duly register and link a new numbering on the blocks or engines with the traffic departments.

In AutoLinea modelsmodels, all the numbers found on the blocks and engines are exclusively for internal controls and traceability.

 

 

The engraved numbering does not replace the mandatory numbering that will be engraved by the state traffic departments, which consists of 9 (nine) nine digits: 2 (two) digits with the acronym of the state where the part will be registered and 6 (six) numeric digits.

DISTRIBUTORS 

It is mandatory to link the numbering engraved on AutoLinea blocks or motors to your consumer sales invoices. 

 

 

CONSUMERS 

It is mandatory to regularize the new engine in accordance with COTRAN resolution No. 282 of June 2008, within 30 days. If it is not regularized by the deadline, the vehicle will be subject to a fine of R$127.69, 5 (five) points on the national driver's license and/or retention of the vehicle.
